  • Over the past few days, violence has been escalating in Syria as the “Free Syrian Army” launches fresh attacks on the suburbs surrounding the Syrian capital of Damascus, as well as within the city itself. Today three top official, the defense minister, the minister of interior and Assad’s Brother in law, were killed in a bombing, an attack for which the free Syrian army has claimed responsibility. For further insight on the current situation, we turned to Afra Jalabi, a Syrian Journalist and Peace advocate.
