Doug Smith is a student from Dr. Adrienne Hurley’s “EAST 600” class, a seminar that challenges both undergrad and masters students alike to look at the way education and educational institutions help maintain a coercive and oppressive ideology on minority groups. For this reason, the students search out diverse ways of gaining knowledge. What better way than contacting the authors of the books you’re reading! This is the first half of a two part interview with Setsu Shigematsu and Taher Herzallah. The first half of the interview is with Setsu talking about the collection of essays entitled “Militarized Currents: Toward a decolonized Future in Asia and the Pacific”, published by the Minnesota University Press in 2010.
Interview with ISIS International and Setsu Shigematsu on Multicultural Liberal Feminism:

Crop Circles and Zombies, perhaps two images that perfectly symbolize the TMA.
Ed’s discussion with Dr. Horace Drew about this fascinating much ignored phenomenon and about fighting off the urge to uncritally consume the mass media’s message about what they signify.
Here are some links that Dr. Horace Drew aka Red Collie wants to bring to the attention of you TMA listeners:

“Daniel Pinchbeck made the intellectual leap to believing in paranormal crop pictures several years ago, and often speaks on related subjects at Glastonbury. He put a1996 crop picture from Stonehenge on the cover of his “2012” book, which appeared magically in daylight in less than 15 minutes.”
