The Show!

Today on the show, Gretchen K attended a PLQ campaign event with Jean Charest last Thursday. It was in St. Henri and drew a noisy protest confronting the lines of private and public security. Tomorrow the
election will conclude and the protest will continue no matter the outcome. The next demonstration is called for election night – LA GRANDE MANIF du jour des ÉLECTIONS – 6pm, Place Emilie Gamelin or
Berri Square.

Then – contributor Roxane Le Corre brings us an interview with Malcolm O’Hagan, president of the American Writers Museum Foundation. There’s currently no museum in the States dedicated solely to writers, and Mr. O’Hagan and others are well on their way to changing that.

Plus! Liz Pieries’ Playground Productions segment is back, with new music to tickle your ears and lovely banter with local DJ wonder Danny Payne.

Then we get right into the second hour with headlines from Democracy Now! and Farid is in studio to discuss HG Welles’ “A Perfect Gentlemen.”
